Acceptable Use Policy

Illegal Use

SheenSol Technologies’ services may not be used for illegal purposes or to support illegal activities. SheenSol Technologies reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities and/or injured third parties in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrongdoing.

Harm to Minors

Using SheenSol Technologies’ services to harm or attempt to harm minors in any way, including child pornography, is strictly prohibited.

Threats

Using SheenSol Technologies’ services to transmit material (by e-mail, uploading, posting, or otherwise) that threatens or encourages bodily harm or property destruction is strictly prohibited.

Harassment

Using SheenSol Technologies’ services to transmit material that harasses another individual is strictly prohibited.

Spam and Phishing Policy

Manipulating identifiers, such as email headers and images, to disguise the origin of any content transmitted using the service. Using or facilitating the transmission of unsolicited or unauthorized material through the service, including promotional materials, URLs, “junk mail,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any form of unauthorized solicitation. Using “robots” or other means to harvest email addresses from the service. Sending messages directing recipients to a website that uses a third party’s branding or trademarks to mislead the recipient into thinking it’s an authorized site.

Fraudulent Activity

Using SheenSol Technologies’ service for fraudulent offers, financial scams, such as “pyramid schemes” and “chain letters,” is strictly prohibited.

Impersonation

Modifying identifying network header information to deceive or mislead is prohibited. Misusing the name of any government entity is strictly prohibited, and SheenSol Technologies reserves the right to comply with government requests to shut down services. Company domains registered by employees or third parties are considered the property of the organization and may be reclaimed with appropriate information. Attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying information is prohibited. The use of anonymous remailers or nicknames does not constitute impersonation.

Unsolicited Commercial E-mail / Unsolicited Bulk E-mail (SPAM)

Using SheenSol Technologies’ service to transmit unsolicited commercial or bulk e-mail is expressly prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of the account.

E-mail / News Bombing

Malicious intent to disrupt another person’s use of electronic mail services or news is prohibited and may result in the immediate termination of the account.

E-mail / Message Forging

Forging any message header, in part or whole, of any electronic transmission is in violation of this policy.

Hourly E-mail Limit

Shared hosting accounts are limited to sending no more than 60 emails per hour. VIP accounts hosted on shared hosting are restricted to sending up to 200 emails per hour. If you need to send more emails within an hour, contact our Sales Team for an appropriate email solution.

Usenet Spamming

SheenSol Technologies has a zero tolerance policy for the posting of messages or commercial advertisements that violate the rules, regulations, FAQ, or charter of any newsgroups or mailing lists.

Unauthorized Access

Using SheenSol Technologies’ service to access, or attempt to access, the accounts of others or to breach security measures of SheenSol Technologies’ or another entity’s computer software, hardware, or electronic communications system is expressly prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

Copyright or Trademark Infringement

Using SheenSol Technologies’ service to transmit material that infringes upon the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any third party is prohibited.

Collection of Personal Data

Using SheenSol Technologies’ service to collect personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent is prohibited.

Network Disruptions and Unfriendly

Activity Using SheenSol Technologies’ service for any activity that negatively affects other users’ or systems’ ability to use the service or the Internet, including “denial of service” (DOS) attacks, is prohibited.

Fraud

Involves knowingly misrepresenting or making misleading statements, writings, or activities with the intent to deceive.

Infringement of Copyright, Patent, Trademark, Trade Secret, or Intellectual Property Right Distributing or posting infringements of copyrighted or other intellectual property material is not allowed.

Distribution of Viruses

Distributing software intended to cause damage, harassment, or annoyance to persons, data, or computer systems is strictly prohibited.

Inappropriate Use of Software

Using software or devices to facilitate a continued connection, such as pinging, while using SheenSol Technologies’ services may result in service suspension.

Third Party Accountability

Customers will be held responsible and accountable for any activity by third parties using their account that violates guidelines created within this Acceptable Use Policy.

Inodes Limit

The maximum allowed number of inodes on SheenSol Technologies’ shared hosting servers is 100,000. Accounts exceeding this limit will be considered in violation of the hosting policy, and all services may be automatically suspended. Data backup services are not provided for free and must be arranged in advance.

Payments

Customers are responsible for all domain registration charges in advance. Domain registration confirmation will be sent after 24 hours of payment. SheenSol Technologies reserves the right to change charges without notice for domain registration renewal.

Renewal

Customers will be notified when renewal fees are due. Failure to pay renewal fees within the specified period may result in domain cancellation, and SheenSol Technologies will not be responsible if the domain is registered by another person after the expiration of the registration term. Different top-level domains (TLDs) have varying renewal terms and conditions.

Warranty Disclaimer

SheenSol Technologies does not guarantee the content or results of the services it provides. Customers are responsible for their data, web content, and information hosted on SheenSol Technologies’ servers.

Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SheenSol Technologies and its employees, directors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the use of the services.

Force Majeure

SheenSol Technologies is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this agreement if it is beyond its reasonable control.

Bandwidth

Customers agree not to use excessive CPU processing on SheenSol Technologies’ servers. Excessive use may result in additional charges, service suspension, or termination.

Acceptance of Services

Acceptance of this agreement by SheenSol Technologies may be subject to satisfactory completion of a credit check. Activation of service indicates SheenSol Technologies’ acceptance of this agreement.

Change of Plans / Increase in Hosting Quota

For further increases in hosting space, a new contract will be required.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation prior to the specified term will not result in a refund of fees paid in advance. Customers will be required to pay 100% of SheenSol Technologies’ standard yearly charges for the term. Cancellation requests must be made by the primary account contact. Cancellation will not relieve customers of obligations to pay fees accrued prior to cancellation.

Regulatory

Either party may cancel this agreement without penalty in the event of a regulatory or legislative change or government policy that renders the agreement illegal or unenforceable.

Liability and Other Services

SheenSol Technologies scratch card numbers and access codes/passwords must be kept confidential and non-transferable. SheenSol Technologies reserves the right to deactivate card codes without notice if fraudulent use is suspected. Changes to email addresses must be promptly reported to SheenSol Technologies.

Reseller Policies

SheenSol Technologies respects the domains and parameters of its resellers. Complaints regarding resellers will be addressed by SheenSol Technologies. Equality and liberty are valued for all customers, regardless of their hosting size.

Security

Customers are responsible for preventing unauthorized access to their accounts and for keeping passwords secure. Attempting to obtain another user’s account password is prohibited.

Network & Resource

Utilization Shared resources should not be excessively used or abused, as it may negatively impact other customers. Misuse of network resources that impairs network performance is prohibited.

Reporting Violations Any violation of this policy should be reported to abuse@sheensol.com. Include relevant information such as IP addresses, date and time, evidence of the violation, and full email headers if applicable.

Revisions to this Acceptable Use Policy SheenSol Technologies reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this policy at any time and in any manner. Notice of any changes will be posted according to the Terms of Service. Violations of this policy may result in account termination.
